Narendra Modi, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) India, previously served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat state from 2001 to 2014. He is currently the Member of Parliament (MP) from Varanasi. Modi was previously Chief Minister of the western state of Gujarat from October 2001 through May 2014. Modi was Born on 17th September, 1950, to Hiraba and DamodardasModi, NarendraModi had modest beginnings in his life. He completed his schooling in Vadara, a small town in Gujarat.  Even in his schooling years and immediately thereafter he made a living, selling tea on the Mehsana Railway Station to soldiers during the Indo-Pak war.
